Love… It’s what happens when you stop judging people and accept them for who they are.

Oddly enough it is the upstairs hall “Green Bathroom” in the townhouse I grew up in. My parents built it new. Something about that bathroom gave me the creeps though. Not sure if it was the dark color or what… Never liked using it.
Pretty! This would make a great airline ad. Enjoy!
So over a month and a half ago, my tires got slashed while I was home at my “deluxe renovated” apartment home. Immediately I contacted the property manager and expressed concern about the lighting at the property. Nothing has been done yet there are light fixtures available ready to go on the building. Money money money, it’s a rich man’s world. This is copy from the property management company’s website:
Axiom Properties, Inc. has over 40 years of successful real estate history with an emphasis on repositioning underperforming and problem assets. We’ve built our success on the philosophy that residents are the economic engine of a property, and people make decisions on where to live based upon where they will have the best quality of life within their housing budget. Adhering to this philosophy, and the following guiding principles, are the cornerstone of Axiom’s success in repositioning underperforming and problem assets…

George Clooney ‘Up in the Air’ Frequent Flier Movie Reality - ABC News
I’m getting the travel itch again. With my travel consisting of only the 8 miles to and from work 5 or 6 times per week, I’m feeling slightly trapped. Found this interesting mini documentary in this article http://www.flightglobal.com/blogs/flight-international/2011/07/united-airlines-passenger-flie.html?utm_source=twitterfeed&utm_medium=twitter. Ah, the life. And people used to tease me about flying somewhere to surprise friends for lunch. And FYI, to this day my favorite day trip for lunch was to Buddy’s Seafood and Ribs (aka Buddy’s Abs and Ribs) in Annapolis Maryland for the Sunday Brunch. The restaurant is a block away from the Naval Academy. Enjoy the clip!
Just finished watching this movie called Violet Tendencies. Interesting flick. Stars Mindy Cohn of Facts of Life fame. I found myself choking up at times. I know it’s real as the happy pills have been working great (thanks Wellbutrin!) Why did it pull at my emotional heartstrings? I think it’s because I’m getting older. I see guys with their families come into the store all the time. They are YOUNGER than me. Cute kids, 2 or 5 years old. I just wonder. Is it time to grow up and settle down? I think I’d be a great father if I had someone to journey down that road with. I most certainly couldn’t be one of those filthy rich single fathers who just ooze success. I just wonder, how would things be different, if G and myself were able to work out our differences?

I couldn’t sleep. It’s now 1am and I couldn’t stop thinking about where things are going in my life. My friend Ellen has been telling me for over a year now to blog, yet I’ve always had something more pressing to do (okay, so in this instance sleep, I’ll give you that). So my blog is born, in the deep of the night. Don’t expect anything too profound. I’m going back to bed.
